How to Make A Halftone Effect Picture in Photoshop Elements 6.0

  1. Open up your picture.

  2. Resize image to around 30cm by 20cm
  3. Fiddle about with the lighting via Enchance -> Adjust lighting. The brighter the better.
  4. Filter -> Sketch -> Halftone Pattern
  5. Enchance -> Adjust colour -> Adjust Hue/Saturation -> Check Colourize -> Change the hue and saturation to fit your needs.
  6. Finish off by cropping and adjusting the colour/lighting

  1. This is not a proper halftone pattern though, as the “dots” still are antialiased. Unfortunately, real halftone is only available in the full Photoshop versions.
